Celebrating Ugly Pets

A picture post for ugly or dressed-up pets. If your pet is ugly and you are proud of it or if your pet just looks good in a costume, send me a picture at MundaneFotos@yahoo.com or post a picture to your blog and leave me a comment. Actually, not all the animals here are ugly. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." And the narratives are not always 100% accurate. Sometimes they're not 1% accurate, but I hope you enjoy them.

Party Doberman

Doberman with sun glasses and blow toy in its mouthBelieve it or not, that little toy the dog has in its mouth would go out and in every few seconds. Was he really trained to blow on that? This is some party animal!

Big Cat Country

Tiger on a sunny winter day in St. Louis, MONo, this is not an ugly pet. This magnificent animal is not a pet and wouldn't make a good pet, but it can be seen at the St. Louis Zoo. The St. Louis Zoo is fantastic and it is free! Parking is $8, but if you get there early you can often find free parking on the streets near the zoo. Bring the family, you won't be disappointed.

I'm Not The Ugly Pet!

Just seeing the look on this dog's face I know what he's thinking.

"They don't pay me enough to give this monkey a ride, but at least he's wearing the silly costume and not me! Just for the record, he's the ugly pet in this picture, not me"
